Overview

Tinsel seeks a Brand Ambassador to serve as a dedicated brand expert and resource focused on all things brand related, in the assigned market for our Spirits client. The Brand Ambassador is expected to develop and maintain relationships with accounts, trade and distributor partners. Increase brand awareness and growth through education, menu placements, distribution and advocacy for the client. An entrepreneurial mentality is key to success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Focused Account Management: Maintain a focused account list of 35-50 accounts within the on/off-premise channels to optimize engagement and performance.
  • Elevate Brand Visibility: Educate bartenders and key industry personnel in the on/off-trade channels through engaging brand programs, including trainings, dinners, social media initiatives, experiential events, and happy hours, to enhance the visibility of Casamigos.
  • Enhance Brand Awareness: Build brand loyalty within targeted key accounts while increasing market distribution and menu presence, focusing on achieving #1 Tequila cocktail placement among the top three items on menus.
  • Inspire Industry Personnel: Motivate key industry personnel about our brand expressions, fostering strong relationships and support that contribute to brand success.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate new relationships and leverage existing connections to drive brand initiatives, ensuring backbar placements of Casamigos in 100% of accounts.
  • Comprehensive Education: Educate key consumers, industry influencers, and trade stakeholders on all aspects of our brand, including its history, production processes, and the agave spirit category, with comprehensive training provided upon hire.
  • Innovative Cocktail Solutions: Create innovative cocktail solutions that highlight the unique characteristics of each brand expression across diverse account types.
  • Customer Solutions Development: Develop customer solutions that translate into measurable commercial success, executing placements for in-room menus in hotels and targeting opportunities for 375ml and 50ml products.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with Tinsel leadership, Global Brand Ambassador, local commercial teams, and brand teams to execute brand strategies through various sales and marketing activities.
  • Channel Management: Manage and collaborate with on- and off-premise channels, crafting creative solutions to drive brand growth and business success.
  • Engaging Educational Programming: Deliver engaging educational programming that resonates with trade partners and key customers, ensuring all account staff are educated on the brand story and expressions. Including hosting a minimum of two Agave Dinners at the top 50% of key accounts.
  • Social Media Engagement: Utilize social media strategically to foster creative and organic trade and consumer engagement, representing Casamigos at key PR moments and influencer activations (2-4 per quarter).
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, social media insights, and the competitive landscape, transforming findings into actionable opportunities for the brand.
  • Budget Management: Efficiently manage program budgets, providing quarterly financial updates and solutions aligned with brand and advocacy team goals.

Qualifications

Administrative & Professional Requirements

  • A deep passion and knowledge of the agave category
  • Skills to manage, train and oversee regional ambassadors (national only)
  • Lead projects and present disruptive ideas that put the client at a competitive advantage and highest return on investment.
  • Strong negotiator, trade knowledgeable and able to build relationships that deliver commercial results.
  • Monitor the delivery of programming objectives on time and on budget.
  • A creative mindset and culture-forward thinking with ability to identify and put forward
  • strong opportunities for the brand
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage budget, craft recaps and track against goals
  • Ability to self-manage time, stay organized, multitask & manage multiple projects at once 
  • Exercise high moral character and social responsibility
  • Maintain social presence on Instagram, etc., with an eye for style

 

Presentation Requirements

  • Strong presentation skills whether it be for customers, media or consumers
  • Comfortable speaking in front of crowds in a captivating, personable, influential, and articulate manner.
  • Ability to memorize and deliver presentation and education scripts in natural and authentic manner 
  • Professional and polished appearance 
  • Distributor engagement at quarterly GSM, blitz, USBG, trade events, etc.
  • Create monthly insight recaps to present market wins and opportunities to the local commercial team and brand team.

 

How to Stand Out

 

  • Experience with sales and/or distributor teams is a plus. If not experienced, must demonstrate potential to learn.
  • Strong knowledge of the 3-tier/4-tier system
  • Able to be credible with trade - bartender background, known/respected locally
  • Passionate about the beverage industry, particularly the agave category, including an understanding of trends, innovations, and current events
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish at a proficient to fluent level is a plus
