Position Summary

Executive Producer will serve as a Project Lead on a number of projects from traditional events to scaled experiential, overseeing campaigns from concept through execution. This role requires leadership, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to inspire teams while maintaining a client-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Management

  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Drive project kickoff and ensure alignment with client goals and Tinsel’s creative vision.
  • Establish and uphold project processes, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Mentor and support junior producers and cross-functional teams, fostering professional growth.

Client Management

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, managing relationships with a balance of empathy and accountability.
  • Proactively manage client expectations, providing clear updates on scope, timelines, and budget.
  • Translate client vision into actionable project strategies and deliver flawless execution.

Team Collaboration

  • Partner with creative, strategy, and account management teams to align project goals.
  • Foster open communication across all teams to ensure cohesive, high-quality outcomes.
  • Actively resolve cross-functional challenges to maintain project momentum while prioritizing client needs, budgets, and timelines.

Vendor & Logistics Oversight

  • Source and manage vendors, contractors, and venue partners, ensuring all align with project needs, double and triple bidding where required.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize value within budget constraints.
  • Oversee on-site execution, including permitting, staffing, setup, and breakdown, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Budget & Quality Control

  • Develop detailed budgets and track financial performance across projects, sometimes during the pitch phase through execution.
  • Maintain rigorous quality control, ensuring all deliverables meet Tinsel’s standards.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to identify learnings and opportunities for future improvement.

Skills & Requirements

  • 6–8 years in experiential marketing or event production, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven ability to lead large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional client management and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing vendor relationships.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheets, Google Sheets) and budget tracking software.
  • Availability for travel and flexible work schedules.

Travel

  • Be willing to travel approximately 25-30% for site visits, events and activations.
  • Participate in one to two company offsites annually.

Execution Excellence

  • Drive high-quality execution of campaigns, balancing creative and production needs.
  • Act as the go-to point for troubleshooting issues and ensuring solutions align with the brand's goals.
  • Lead by example, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and efficiency.
  • Participate in and help foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration in all processes and engagements, both internally within the agency and externally with clients and vendors
