Overview

The Creative Director role is a pivotal position at Tinsel, responsible for driving the creative vision for our experiential campaigns. This individual will lead multi-disciplinary creative teams to craft innovative, high-impact solutions that reflect our client’s goals and brand identity. The ideal candidate is a visionary thinker with impeccable taste, strong leadership skills, and the ability to translate complex ideas into unforgettable experiences.

Responsibilities

Creative Leadership

 

  • Develop and articulate a compelling creative vision for experiential campaigns that align with client objectives and Tinsel’s aesthetic standards.
  • Inspire and guide teams across design, copywriting, and production to produce exceptional work that pushes creative boundaries.
  • Lead brainstorming and concept development sessions, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Ensure all creative deliverables meet or exceed client expectations while adhering to project timelines and budgets.

Client Collaboration

 

  • Serve as the creative face of Tinsel, building trust and rapport with clients through strategic insights and creative expertise.
  • Present concepts, storyboards, and pitches with confidence, articulating the rationale behind creative decisions.
  • Translate client feedback into an actionable direction for the team while maintaining the integrity of the creative vision.

 

Team Leadership

 

  • Oversee and mentor a team of designers, art directors, copywriters, and other creatives, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
  • Partner with producers and account leads to ensure seamless integration of creative and production processes.
  • Allocate and manage creative resources effectively to meet project demands and deadlines.

 

Project Oversight

 

  • Guide the execution of projects from concept to completion, maintaining quality and consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure feasibility and alignment between creative vision and practical implementation.
  • Lead creative reviews, ensuring alignment with brand strategies and agency standards.


Strategic Contributions

 

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations, bringing fresh ideas and technologies to the table.
  • Contribute to the development of Tinsel’s creative methodologies and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for client growth and present innovative solutions as part of ongoing strategic discussions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, marketing, communications, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in creative leadership roles, preferably in experiential marketing or related fields.
  • Proven track record of delivering groundbreaking campaigns for high-profile clients.
  • Exceptional portfolio showcasing expertise in design, concept development, and execution.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas effectively to clients and internal teams.
